Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What if I was born on a Leap Day (Feb 29)?
If you were born on a leap year, standard calendars usually celebrate your birthday on February 28th or March 1st during non-leap years. Our algorithm defaults to March 1st for non-leap year calculations to ensure an accurate 365-day cycle.
Why does the day of the week change every year?
A standard year has 365 days, which is exactly 52 weeks and 1 day. Therefore, your birthday shifts forward by one day of the week each year. During a leap year (366 days), it shifts forward by two days.
Can I use this for anniversaries?
Absolutely! Even though it's called a Birthday Finder, you can enter any significant past date (like a wedding anniversary or work start date) to find out when it occurs next.
